Exhibit in Haarlem

March 15th Exhibit Opening in Haarlem

Haarlem Roze Stad (Haarlem Pink City) 2012 will be hosting an exhibit of A Series of Questions images, including those photographed this past September in the Netherlands.

The exhibit opens at De Filmschuur March 15th and runs through the 29th. Work will be available for purchase and 10% of the proceeds will help benefit Haarlem Roze Stad! More information can be found at the Haarlem Roze Stad website here (English translation link).

I won’t be able to be in Haarlem for the opening, but am very excited to be included in the 2012 Roze Stad!

Pride Photo Award & New Images

I am very excited to announce that I was awarded First Prize in the “Straight Back At You” category for the Pride Photo Award!

I will be making travel arrangements soon to attend the exhibition opening in Amsterdam this September. While in the Netherlands I will also be photographing for A Series of Questions, as well as for other work. If you’re interested in being photographed please get in touch!

I am honored to be included in the 2011 Pride Photo Award edition and look forward to meeting the other artists– it is wonderful to be included alongside their work. Many thanks to Joeri Kempen of the Pride Photo Award staff for inviting me to submit work and for his quick email responses at late hours, as well as to the jury for selecting my work.

Some Travel Updates!

I’ll be in Brooklyn (Sheepshead Bay) Dec. 16th-21st, then in the Boston area Dec. 22nd-24th. On the 23rd I’ll be in Worcester and Acton.

The rest of my NY location/timeline is still a bit vague, but I will spend some time in the Highland and Poughkeepsie area, Westchester County, and Monroe. I’m looking forward to departing tomorrow and hoping I can beat the snowstorm that’s supposed to hit the Midwest!

Shout-Out

A shout-out and grateful thanks to Precision Camera in Austin, TX! The wonderful folks in their repair department fixed my Hasselblad, damaged on the road, in less than a day. They were extremely accommodating and super-helpful during an already stressful travel day.
